Drive voltage for motors

What is the reccommended drive voltage for the motors supplied with the "M" version ? I realize one has some lattitude with the "Power" settings, but I want to run the gimbal directly off of the 6S flight pack, if possible. If the motors are wound for 3S packs, i.e. higher kV, it probably wouldn't be a good idea just to turn the power down to 50% and go with it.

Sure, if I am not wrong this is 580g + 190g = 770g.
Up to 900g is ok for InfnityM / M-P3.
Dimensions of camera are also not a problem.
Camera shelf is 165mm wide and 63mm long.

Best,
Jakub

Something else came from what I've seen.

I'm quite sure the yaw axis is not balanced. I've the InfinityM gimbal, quite the same frame but just smaller. All the weight of the assembly is on the rear of the plate attached to the yaw motor, so there's a lot of effort pushed on the motor axis.

Place the whole assembly on the side, to have the yaw axis on the horizontal plan.
Now slide the gimbal in the direction of the yaw motor to balance this axis as well as possible, and try again.

This could explain:
- the behavior of your first and second video, as the motor was fighting the weight of the unbalanced assembly
- the behavior of your last video, where the power is sufficient to fight the weight but the unbalanced weight is still giving problems.

Maybe the over tightened screw does not help in this situation.

Let me know.

Bastien
