more ideas...
i saw these in a medical clinic and noticed how they stored stuff
these pre-fabed racks are very stable despite being very tall...

http://www.metro.com/catalog/commercial/#/118/

the 1 i saw in clinic was 60" long X 24" wide X 70" tall and could easily fit 5 shelves suitable for f3xish and even scale-ish wings and fuses.
the brackets and shelving are all modular to boot.

right off i'm think 2 of these would take care of all my needs incl radio gear and scale planes.

A little update... I am finishing up my hobby room. It's still a work in progress, but I found a solution for both my F3X storage needs and workbench. I need to box in and partition some space under the workbench for wing storage but decided to do a little mock up for the photo.

Right Sam. LOL. I just say no to clutter. Crickey, how the heck do you find anything in that mess anyway?!

I need more storage for models too Ian. I have Chris Ploof helping me with a solution on that one.
