Hello,
I would just like to start a little thread with folks responding as to how they power their radio gear. I'm mostly interested in the 10-cell/3S LiPo size heli's, but everyone is certainly welcome to respond.

If you would like to respond, please include the following:
1) Type of heli,
2) Flight pack size/type being used,
3) Method of powering radio gear (if using your ESC's BEC please include type of ESC),
4) Servos and gyro being used, and
5) Type of flying that you do with this setup.

"Mild curusing" = My skill set includes hover, nose-in hover, some forward flight, some full power climbs/descents. No inverted, loops or other aerobatic (yet!).

Hornet (S300, CC7P, 8 cells nimh, HS55x3, mini gyro)

I use an RX flight pack in;

Logo 10 (Kont. 600-17/heatsink, 4s4p TP-LP, 12 nimh 3000's, Schulze 45HO, 4xDS368, GY401)
Hawk EP (Aveox 1412/4, Schulze 35HO, 20 cells, 4xHS225's, GY401)

I use a UBec in;

Hawk EP (High-Torque 12T, CCP-45, 16x3000 nimh, 4xHS625's, GY401)
Raven 50 CCPM (Kont 45-8, Kont 50-8-30, 24 cells or 2x4s4p TP packs, GY402/9253, 3xHS945's, Still in building)

Not sure yet for;

Quick 15, but leaning towards ESC/BEC

All FF, and mild aero as heli (and my skill) permits, no 3D.
