So in essence, he doesn't want to duplicate work or in this case decal selection when he knows someone else (like Callie) already makes them.

I don't believe WingNutt ever told us where he got his CX decals from, though. I've never used Callie before. Do you know how much they typically run?

Pricing depends on plane and complexity. But in my opinion and others would attest, the detail and materials are second to none!

http://callie-graphics.com/

Her website shows more of the fighter/warbird stuff. Best to just get a pic and/or email her and she'll let you know if she already has the artwork.

Hope this helps.

Hi have used Callie for my decals, a very good product and she is easy to work with on a new scheme

Here are some decals Callie has supplied for my airliners, I am working on the A380 at present, the B787 scheme has not been supplied yet but I am sure it will be of good quality like the othere's when I receive it, I have not paid more than $35 and that's with shipping to Aus

She does ALL my graphic work. She did the Pan Am scheme for $20. I sent her a scan from an Airbus set (Pan Am never had 777s), dimensions of the RC jet, and what exactly I wanted. She did the rest. She also did all my USAF jets.

Hi Mike,

I just ordered a set from Callie as well for my B777 finally- took me a while to decide. She's done all my graphics as well- Alaska 737 and AWEC Wedgetail.

For my B777, I went with British Airways as well, except I am doing G-VIIT as it appeared in the mid 90s with BA "World Tails" livery. It is the "Hong Kong" tail.

I should have it ready for taxi in mid March I presume....(delayed due to life logistics). And we'll see of those flaps do the trick.

How do you transport your planes?

Can you detach the wings?

The livery is VERY cool, Doug!

Just a follow up question regarding Inboard flaps. You had mentioned that they were unbelievably easy to do, etc. Do you have any photos of the method you used to link them to the outboard flaps?

Hi Gary,

Thanks on the livery- a personal favorite. (I will do my WR B747 as the BA South Africa tail.) No, I am using two flap servos per wing on the B777. Same set up as my B737 (though flap hinging is different).

Because there is a flaperon is in between the inboard and outboard flap on the B777, it doesn't lend itself as easily to a single flap servo actuation. (Not saying it can't be done, I'm just not worred to add 9g weight for an additional wing servo).

Inboard Flap and Flaperon

Doug;

You are going to glue the Flaperon cutout back in place (not movable)?

Thanks to Ming for a great looking example of the Boeing 777 and for shipping it out quickly.

Here's a few photo and more on our RC Groups blog:

Flaperon will actually move in scale with flap motion using springs and hinges.
