No drug test... yet... I'm guessing that is coming though.

Background check is in progress... they outsource it to another firm. I have had to provide a LOT of stuff to them. I hope it is over soon lol. They are verifying employment for 10 YEARS!

They are putting me up in the Hyatt in LA for my orientation event on the 28th and 29th I told them I didn't need a swanky hotel... but the next option available was only $40 cheaper/night than the $249 they are spending on the Hyatt room. Crazy...

I know some places have really steep hotel rates for downtown... but around here you get pretty nice digs for $65 a night or so.

Happy Days Nate! What happens south of da boarder, stays south.

As predicted the B29 is going viral and to listen to the disheartening comments is way to much to take. One person stated the Aileron was stuck in a left turn. This person obviously has his ailerons reversed when he flies. Dumb bun of a stitch.

TT36 is reassembled, Carb got all new O rings, Boca Bearings feel goooood. Back bearing seemed to be in the worst shape. Time to put it back on da plane.

When Forbes has an article about our toys, this things is getting way too much PR.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/gregorym...limit-flights/

"Is it possible they have been scared into silence and are not participating in the regulatory process for fear of revealing themselves to government regulators"

Ya Think?

Ron that was a good article, thanks for the link.

Scared into silence? really? With the kind of numbers he was quoting in that article, I too am surprised and embarrassed about the lack of response to the FAA interpretation.

The FAA really seems to going above and WAY BEYOND their regulatory duties.

My gut reaction when it came out <after the AMA asked the Vampire to come in last time> was "Do I want the FAA to know my name?" They had issues keeping track of hijacked planes, could they seriously find me?

Obviously Forbes has shown that all the groups can be tracked via social Media. <yes... social media has a down side> and they have some statics. We still out number the FAA.... oh... wait... with the evil drones on the loose, someone is bound to find them some debt to spend on us, that they wont spend on us... Maybe a big UAV party?

You can't listen to those articles, my whole deal with negativity and. This hobby is completely ignored by me, just like politics lol

What I don't know doesn't effect me what i do know is its Friday night and I just loaded my planes into the van for tomorrow mornings flying day

Nate always take the plush hotel, as a matter of fact make sure you get the room with the hot tub and mini fridge full of booze and nuts but don't drink or eat any of it unless you know the company is paying for it cause I believe a bottle of water can be $8 or more its probably triple for the carbonated bottles lol
