No the pads were not shorted because I cut the switch off. The wires are still there.

Not sure if its possible but maybe the switch was allowing a small amount of connectivity?

How did the wires get there in the first place? Didn't you solder them on?

Post a picture please.

My 'top plate' the one which the yaw motor attaches to doesn't look like the diagram above. I have holes instead of the cut out at the front.
The holes are badly placed as it only allows around 1-2mm left - right movement without the posts touching the CF

The back holes are fine (shown for comparison)

It may fit on 12mm, but I think it's actually designed for 10mm dia tubes, as on the Tarot frames.

It measures 9.7mm without deformation.

Finally got mine going after a few days. 2.3b4. I believe I recalibrate the entire board 5 times, updated firmware to bring it back to the factory firmware. Thanks to alot of reading this thread, thanks to everyone in here and lots of trial and error. Help is always just a phone call away. I will say, for you new guys, that every board will run different pid's. Not all are the same, but many are close. I'm a happy man. Maiden flight tomorrow. Too late now.

Oh yeah, I read somewhere that the hero 3 video output cable doesn't correspond on the hero 4 black. We'll it works perfect with the output to my fpv transmitter. Incase you all were wondering about my video cable.
