A friend gave me a kit he had picked up at a yard sale long ago thinking I would enjoy the build with my kids. Well, we unpacked the pieces, and pretty much the whole fuselage is missing. I checked off the pieces off the manual as i picked through, and it looks like he rest of it is there. Does anyone know of a source? I think it would be a fun build, but not necessarily worth buying a whole new kit.
It is the Goldberg kit.

Call Great Planes. They are now the distributor of Goldberg kits. Here's the webpage. http://www.carlgoldbergproducts.com/.../gpma0963.html get together a list of what you need and see if they can sens them to you. Its been a while since I've ordered parts this way but it was hassle free back then.

The reason there is kit with no fuselage parts is someone bought a complete kit
to get the parts, it is cheaper than buying the parts separately.

Yeah,
I was looking at the website that Cry Havoc posted, and it's almost $100 just for the two sides and bottom fuselage. I guess I will just hold onto the kit for now. Maybe I will find an old kit for sale.
Thanks

Why can't you just cutout new pieces from the plans?

That isn't out of the realm of possibilities, but like most people, time is a rare commodity. Although it would be fun to have the kids learn how to solve a problem.

MustangHerb - How did you handle the cowl? Paint or a covering? It looks good.
