Wanted 3dhobbyshop 48" EPP Extra 330 Starboard main wing

Each post of this request was meant to target buyers of models from 3DHS that may like most have more then one model from that vendor as many here and do not use the classified adds this seem to be the only way to reach the buyers of this brand. A little dog not mine ruined my wing and I have not gotten a response from 3DHS since 10/9 about getting a new wing, as the wing is the only part that is damaged I am searching for a replacement
I need the starboard main wing for a 3dhobbyshop 48" EPP Extra 330, if you have one I am in the market, please send me a PM

58" Edge Ultracote

3DHS just replied to a note I sent asking for the colors on this plane (just to confirm):

Red Edge uses True Red ultracote: HANU866

Yellow Edge uses Bright Yellow ultracote: HANU872

Both use White ultracote: HANU870
....and Black ultracote: HANU874

Hello,
I own one of the edges and very impressed with it for 3D however sometimes it doesn't feel all that precise... is it just me?

I have spotted the extreme flight 60" EXP, will this be much more precise for drawing some lines?

If it seems sloppy, move the CG forward a bit. That said it is not as precise as the slicks or vipers

its as far forward as i can get it... I will measure to be sure.

So its not as precise as the slicks but presumably its precise enough for most fliers or is it best to keep this one to 3D only? Is there a big enough difference to justify owning an Extra 60" EXP also?

The answer to that depends on what you want to do. If you want an all-out 3D machine, this Edge is probably better for you. If you want something that is more Hybrid-like (meaning does great 3D and has a 'bend' towards precision), the EF Extra is fantastic. I can't speak to the Edge, because I haven't flown mine yet (but it's an EDGE- it will be spectacular in 3D, right!!!). I have flown the EF Extra (48" and 60").

I want to able to perform a mixture in my flights.

The 3D part is ok however I currently struggle a bit with the precision however the edge is massively still more precise than my goldwing Yak 54 30cc.

On the flip side my edge doesn't seem as precise as my sebart sukhoi 30E on 3 cell!!

Setup "properly"- and I'm not sure I am the person to define that- I'm sure this Edge will draw some pretty nice lines for the precision work, but again- I am not flying mine yet...

I could probably gain upto another centimeter in length by pulling forward the cowl and extending using some washers the motor mount.

Do you think a cm would make any difference or is it length behind the wings which helps with precision?

I think that is really about what feels good for you. Nose heavy, or extremely nose heavy reduces the model's reaction to inputs. Neutral to even a slightly tail-heavy CG is good for 3D. I'm not a precision guy, per se, but I do enjoy flying sequences- and the challenge that they present. For that, I prefer my CG to be just forward of neutral. I want to hold just a bit of up trim to maintain level inverted flight, but that is just my personal preference.

Length behind the wing for battery (or any other weight) will not help precision, but it will affect the way the plane reacts to inputs- the more tail-heavy it is, the more pitch and roll sensitive it will become.
