Naza M Lite Hardware with Naza v1/v2 software?

Hi -

Can you run the Naza V1 or V2 software assistant with Naza Lite hardware? I see that the Lite has it's own software but I am trying to correct a problem I am having. Everyone I have talked to says to do an "advanced IMU calibration." But the Lite software does not have an "advanced IMU calibration" button does it?

I have been trying to diagnose the common GPS drift problem on my F550 hexacopter. I have the Naza M Lite + GPS setup. Everything is setup correctly from what I can see. I would say 50% of the time it drifts to the right when placed into GPS mode.

I have calibrated the compass multiple times, the FC is in the CG, the FC is facing forwards, the GPS module is pointed forwards, I make sure to let the IMU warmup on level ground for at least 3 minutes before flight. I have strong GPS signal with no flashing red lights.

I made a quick video demonstrating this...

DJI F550 GPS Drift problem (2 min 38 sec)

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried rotating the GPS module to compensate for Magnetic declanation? IE fly it forward and see if it tracks in a straight line and then offset the GPS module on the stalk either way until it flies straight. Is the GPS module pointing forward in the right direction?

you need to compensate for magnetic deviation, rotate gps housing clockwise for E deviations and anticlock for West deviations. look up your city on the magnetic deviations chart and apply correction.http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/geomag-web/

Search better, you can update the naza lite to a full v2 with only a firmware update.
