Building a slow electric combat wing, what battery?
Thinking of adding a slow electric combat wing to my collection, this one in particular that comes with a 2200kv brushless outrunner motor, has a 1m wingspan running 6x4 props:
So wondering what size LiPo to put in it, how many cells, what mAH etc? This wing is being built solely for slow combat for those days when there just isn't any wind so in this instance I would prefer a longer slower flight time rather than all out speed and need it to be quite light and just fly steadily.
FYI I actually already have bonkers fast little wing (below), this is 800mm wingspan with a 3000kv motor running 5.5x4.5 props. This thing has 2200mAH 25C LiPo's and is extremely fast but due to its small wingspan and heavy weight it doesn't glide for very long without power. Its also FAR to fast for combat.
