I get the same amount of thrust to watts on calculated (not actual) RPMs than my wemo and SAPAC fans

It doesn't matter if he was running 12s to get the number the numbers the point is it can be done and CALCULATED rpms and amp estimates can be take from there.

The motor I'm using is slightly shorter can than an MB1 but give same thrust on 4s but comes down pretty warm...knowing that I know NOT to go to 5s on that motor with this 10 blade fan.

This is exactly what I see, the thrust to watts is not as proportional as a wemo...you can't go to 6.5lbs of thrust on this fan without specially made KV motors for instance a 2250kv but for 4.5lbs of thrust (which will push a good 90mm foamie) it's good for that on 4, 5 and 6 cell motors.

I think some are confusing efficiency of a fan (rotor) with efficiency of a fan system (fan/motor). If the motor is too small or Kv incorrect for the load, the efficiency of the fan (rotor) can look to be poor. So, your graph curves only represent the results with the given motor, not the efficiency of the fan (rotor) itself. To compare fan efficiencies, you would need to spin the rotors at the exact same RPMs and compare load vs. RPMs vs. thrust.

so how is it that mark at extremerc can run this fan on 2720kv on 6s and be fine and say its as good as a minifan and our 2700kv motor on 5s cooked, there is so much contradicting info around this fan its unbelievable

I would guess a made-to-order long can 1950kv HET.
The 3W25 should work well with a 6s pack, if you look back some 5 pages (stevekott) there are some results with this motor and the stock Habu 32.

it was the ammo 28-45, not long enough. we are going to try a couple of cyclone power outrunners next, going for additional power handling, cooling and torq. just waiting on them to arrive
