found this tiny circlip ,wheres it go?
found this tiny circlip near my landing area today .looked down and seen it gleeming,just a lucky find actually.
wonder where it goes?i have a cb100. does it go on the steering rod? its tiny.i put it in some tape so i wouldnt lose it .theres a speck of crumb next to it for size reference .its tiny. any ideas?i havent a clue  By null at 2010-10-06 |

You might try asking in the micro heli forum. It goes on a shaft, somewhere.
Could be main shaft, tail shaft, motor shaft, etc. |

well you were right ,they are both missing from the grip .i proceeded to install this one when it went "ping".now its gone forever.
where i am gonna get this part now??these things are so tiny ..i need a bigger heli...lol |

Well, I guess its a kit by traditional definition, but I found it to be more of an ARF, with only major components needing final assembly. I admit it's not as easy as a RTF heli what with having to make the final adjustments and all, but I've never had an RTF that I didn't have to adjust to get the darned thing to fly correctly!
I can't comment on the models you listed as I have no experience with them, but I will say that bigger definitely flies better. I'm going up to a 500 after the first of the year. |

not sure how small that is but home depot sells e-clips, also check harbor freight , i know they sell them by the box assortment

i stopped at hobbytown usa and bought the smallest ones they had in a assortment pack ,and they werent small enough...lol
the washer is a good idea ,i see these flying off alot as i only have about a dozen or so flights in . did you double stack the washers?just use enough to fill the void? the heads a little sloppy without the circlips . |
