450 Turbo, sparking?

I just made some minor repairs to my zagi, and as I fired the 450 turbo up toward full throttle, I noticed some sparking. I have multiple flights on this already, and wasn't sure if this sparking was normal? I noticed the sparks in a well lit room, so it was quite visible, is this normal?

Some sparking is normal. It lessens as the brushes break in.

Excessive sparking can mean either poor timing or overloading.

What is your prop and cell count?

Did you break this motor in?

If you do the underwater break-in described in various E-Zone threads, it will reduce arcing (a little is normal) and increase motor life.
