Ok, the nacelles have been made with the EDF inside. I've cut them because they were too narrow at the end, and that would have affected the thrust, i think.
The carbon rods were cut because i thought that the AR6400 would be located on the EPP support. In fact, i'll have to put it far frontward, in order to balance the plane.I will make a support for the Brick (that will cross the whole fuselage).

A little more progress. I have glued inside the fuselage 2 pieces of 2mm depron, and cut the fuselage at the size of the ribs.
The ribs(1) that you see will be attached to the fuselage with magnets.

I must make 2 others ribs (2) that i will glue to the wings.
I will then join the ribs(1) and (2) with the good angle for the dihedral.

Once the ribs (1) and (2) constitute a single rib, i have removable wings....

Ok, i've used some 2mm depron to make this piece that supports the AR6400 brick.
I'll use small magnets for holding it his front part.
I'm working on the wings.

I've made one wing and i'm finishing the other. Do i have to insert carbon rods through the ribs to prevent twisting?

Sorry, but i was too busy to work on this project. So, not much progress.
As always, the more the build gets to its conclusion, the more it takes time... like the charge of a capacitor...
Ok, i've worked on the nose. It will hold the support of the AR6400. I'll use 2 magnets to hold it to the fuselage.

I'm still working on the way to attach the wings to the fuselage. Not really happy so far with my trials.

So, the next steps are:
Install the wings
Make the landing gears
Find the battery location to balance the plane
Make a hatch for the batteries.

Ok, i have made the wing attachement system. It woks ok, but the dihedral is a little bit too much. We'll see later.
It hads 1,5g but it makes the plane easier to transport.

I've calculated with a program, that the COG is 8 cm after the leading edge of the wing.

In fact, the optimal balance point is backward because of the stabilisator's area and the great lever.

René Jossien proposed a formula that takes in account these parameters + the kind of airfoil, etc...

With Rene Jossien's formula, i find a balance point at around 9,1 cm behind the Leading edge.

This result sems to be confirmed by the glide tests.

This would mean that i don't really need to put the AR6400 so much frontward to balance the plane.

I can probably shorten the piece of depron which supports the brick, and still balance the plane with two190 mA.h batteries (10g) installed a little frontward.
