I was in Shock when Tom Nelson told me the 2 guys were building 1/4 scale T-38s on the Ezone..

Now seeing it in pics I'm not in Shock...I'm in Cardiac Arrest LOL

Realizing one of the builders is Corsair Nut is Icing on the cake!!

Have you figured out the gear options??

hey andy if you need AUX air you could have the speed brake panels move up inside the plane and allow extra air to get to the fan.

Yeah Roger come on board..THREE 1/4 scale T-38's!!!

Now all we need is John on one and we will have us a squadron.

So far the inlets are 6200 sq mm each so right now it's 100% FSA for the Stu SM100-45 fans and great idea on the speed brake idea for extra air.

John, fortunately for me Corsair nut is tasked with pulling the canopy's for us. and I think he has a Dominos pizza down the street

Falcon, if memory serves, I think you would need four flights of 4, i.e. 16 planes, for a squadron. But a single flight of 4 in fingertip or echelon formation would like pretty cool.

Used to see them like that just about everyday from 1973 to 1976 when I was stationed at Webb Airplane Patch out in Big Spring, TX. The T-38 is a beautiful graceful airplane and it has a hellacious roll rate. Personally, I think that the long twin canopy makes the '38 much more attractive that the F-5.

Andy and Charlotte came through town we all did some flying and i think there was some foam delivered.

quick question...how much per sheet does that foam cost? I've been using dollar tree foam but I've been thinking of using the dow stuff soon.

This looks like an awesome project, I might have to make a smaller one

Can't quite afford a massive one like this yet

What an amazing build Andy,

You can see you have been hanging out with John and pushing foam to it's limits. It looks great and your almost on pace with his building speed.

What power setup are you an C/N thinking of? Will you use gear or bungi?
