Sounds like a great idea. That would be a lot more fun than skeet shooting!

Kind of a silly product. If they were smart, they would have integrated a power system mount with the dead weight mount, and you'd have the best of both worlds.

Typical RC design.

I think the goal here was a light weight slope glider.

I don't think there is a shortage of small foam motor gliders.

Hello,

Just got mine in the mail on Saturday, it looks ok, just a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, won't be able to fly it until this coming Saturday. I'll let you know how it flies. Looks like it's built ok, I don't like the Styrofoam hinges though, seems like they might not last too long. The other thing is the winglets are supposed to be glued on and I think they would break off easily if any slight midair with anything else, or a hard or inverted landing. I think I will try to make a modification to make them detachable, or break-away type so they can just be put back on without having to make new ones.

Hello all,

Yes it comes fully assembled except for the wing tips, but it turns out that the glue they supply to install them is like a tacky craft glue, and might not do much damage if forced to pull apart. I can't tell what type of servos are included because they are sealed in the wing, but they do sound like MG servos. The packing is actually quite good. The wing is just under 36" span, overall i like it and am looking forward to flying this weekend.

Ridge Ryder

I just got mine yesterday and I like I it a lot. It has a very smooth finish and the decals are micro thin. Looks like it will fly well on small hills . It came in a very large box packed with lots of those balloon packs with a smaller box inside. I am very happy with it, can't wait to fly it.

I got mine too. Be careful setting up your throws, the elevons barely move before the servos and linkages bind.
It could be fun to fly with Weasels and Alulas if it can keep up. I'm going to try to jeep this a light as possible. I've got other stuff to fly when the wind comes up.

Take the linkages off and bend the foam backwards and forwards several times, this will loosen it up, I thought something was wrong when the rods started bending!

With a 6v 5xaaa flat pack in the front Ive had to put 7.5g of weight under the canopy, probable due to the fact I taped the winglets on with blenderm

Also if you use the ballast put that in first then the foam, otherwise you might not get the foam out

Cant wait for a decent blow now
