Ooooh!
3 axis gyro and improved skids. I like it. I probably won't get one but it looks like one of the best beginner machines has taken a step up.
I wonder if the 3 axis would support a flybarless conversion?

Just ordered one. Looks like a few new components. Hard to say if it's better but with "Pro" in the name it must be.

Hopefully parts become available. Looks like there's some carry over.

The new canopy colors are very nice IMO.

Nice!
Keep us posted on how it flies, when you get it.
I keep promising myself I don't need yet another micro FP but these things are such a blast to hoon about the house and a welcome relief from the stresses of flying the serious (expensive) stuff.

It's RTF! I missed that (doh!).
Actually I do need, yet, another FP machine!

Hmmm interesting. I wonder if any of these parts will interchange with the old v911...

Have been looking at the photos off and on all morning. Looks like a vertical set screw to me. What do you guys think?

Improvements look very good on the paper. I would've liked to see a new flybar as well.

What was wrong with the 'old' V911 skids????? Just about the only thing I didn't manage to break

From the description on banggood.com

"V911-pro Improved design tail pipes

Using screw to lock tail pipe and main frame, tail motor wire will no longer be troubled by replaceing parts.
And the tail pipe will not damage the main frame, significantly reducing consumption costs."

Tail looks a little longer. Skids and frame look heavier. Canopy looks lighter, but probably not enough to offset the added weight from the skids and frame. Not including a carbon main shafe and fisheye swash was a mistake. If the canopy fits the current V911 it looks like it might be a worthwhile upgrade for current V911/V911-1 owners. Adding the tail boom screw doesn't really solve much as long as the tail motor is still soldered directly to the main board. The landing skids don't have the little bumps propping the heli at an angle for takeoffs, so I wonder if the 3axis gyro will help with takeoffs. For me the deciding factor for upgrading would be if stablilty when in ground effect were improved (meaning precision landings were easier) or if flight characteristics were more consistent between left and right (so left turns/piros were more a mirror image of right turns/piros). That or there was a noticeable improvement in power or battery life.

Another difference, from the banggood website:

V911
Do not operate or expose the RC helicopter or the remote control in the rain or at damp places with moisture.

V911-pro
V911-pro helicopter can satify you whatever rainy or sunny, even when outdoor wild grade 4-5.

Never liked the carbon main shaft the fisheye swash should have been included though.
