Stinson Model B Bimotor

I have been going to do one of these for some time. I ran across a pic of it while doing Stinson research on another project. One major problem - they never made this one other than mock-up, so out on a limb I go

Specs
60 in span
500sq in
4-6 lbs?
Pr 480 1400 kv motors
Eflite 25 retracts

Yeah I know. All my threads end up being a discussion anyway. If you see or think of anything, everybody comment, ask , criticize, whatever, its all a learning experience anyway

Cool build, Stinson always did know how to build a sexy airplane, in the golden age anyhow. Another great looking build to follow.

Thanks guys Glad you like the looks of it, Hope it comes out looking like it should. I will be posting along with the major events. Its boring seeing the 35th stringer going in place LOL

I like building from my own plans I dont have to try to figure out where the plans maker is going, As all I have to do is look in the mirror and ask myself.

Sometimes that's the most confusing part for me. I tried that, and he didn't know either!

Inner and outer panels are framed, the inner is getting set into the wing saddle, and my inspector is giving me instructions

Panels joined, dihedral set, now on to hanging the nacelles. This is usually a pain because your hanging something out into the air and the angles, offsets, and positions all have to be right on otherwise funny flying happens
