I maidened my Swift today. Delighted with it. Flys slow and also vertical. Great wing! Well pleased.
Will try and get some videos shortly.

I use the thick Gap Filling CA on everything. I get told some things you use the thin but for joining wings and wingtips it is perfect. It is even cheap enough to line the battery area when you get used to it with the kicker. It also strengthens the battery area if you do the corners properly.

Best thing it sets straight away but give the wings a bit of time when joining them. Just do not get it in the eyes but fingers eventually come apart with big burns sometimes.

Is welders the same as Gorilla Glue? I have the Gorilla Glue and use it on certain things.

EDIT: Looks like Welders glue is just contact adhesive but must be a good one.

Just for quickness mate as it sets within seconds. That's why I didn't use hot glue when joining the wings together. You don't really get enough time.

Does it matter where it comes from but maybe the price is too much? It looks a bit expensive.

I would shop around mate. If you can't get welders then get uhu Por.

You can get UHU Creativ (Por in Europe) at Spotlight shops in Oz - I used it on my Swift, if you tried to pull it apart you'd rip the wings before the joint would let go!

Cheers
