Yeah, sometimes it's pretty dead there.

Finally a calm afternoon to re-trim after replacing my broken vert. and re-stringing both linkages. Just when I was getting close, I blew a catch and dropped her on the tail....and broke off the rudder horn. An easy fix but it cut short a nice afternoon at a newly discovered 17 acre field.

Well a toss or two it was. This is the last time I take our dog along. She thinks I'm throwing on of her toys. She "chases" it on launch and I'm afraid she or the DLG will get hurt. She does spot it for me when I land in the tall grass after I dilly dally around and run out of enough altitude to make it back home.

It was too late today as the sun was low at 6PM. Very steady breeze out of the NW at maybe 5MPH. I have trim issues I need to work on...... Not quite sure where to go to fix them.

We are still flying at 60 Acres every Wednesday until and after its dark. We will quit when daylight savings time ends. I flew for 2 hours and only put 233mah back into the 2c 350 lipo.

I got the spring/pull fininshed on my TS2, not as clean as I wanted, but it works. Not to bad for my first build I guess. Charging the lipo now to head out for my first flights

I specked my steig with two Bald Eagles! Was awesome!!

I got my TS2 in the air, flys alot different then anything else I own, but man........talk about fun. Less then 20 launches and I'm hooked

Spent most of the day working on my Next gen DLG airfoil and wing planform while tending to my bro in the hospital. Results are getting very interesting

For only the second time I caught and rolled with a boomer off a tree line. I seldom fly around trees and actually hate them, but today the wind for a few times rolled that way so I had no choice but to linger near them. I first saw this done at Red Rocks by Phil being timed by Mike Sied and ever since, I have wanted to figure out how to hook em and work it. Today it worked again and actually seemed like the lift was where it should have been and that the thermal worked the way I imagined it would. Not to worry, I will have the next 10 times where this does not work out so well and I will once again be humbled by the mysteries of lift.

Once the breeze shifted though I was able to take 5 rides on 1 - 120' launch and work a tiny piece of air all the way to boomer and then do it all over again.
