They changed the description on the product page but the description in the email newsletter said...

Kittens look deadly? I didn't know they float. I thought they just jump up and quickly come back down. I was also unaware that kittens have throttle, let alone variable throttle. Since this plane is "too much fun" I doubt I'll get one because it's probably illegal.

I'm not really interested in this plane but I thought the description was hilarious. It did remind me of the PZ Stryker which plenty of people have bashed for slope use. I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before one of these gets hucked off a slope somewhere.

200 W with a 10A esc would require a 5 cell lipo. Something's wrong with their math And then using the 2300kV motor it'll be spinning 46,000 RPM Better stay clear of the prop!

i was disappointed to see that it is soo damm small.

i (as a 50% heli-guy) was thinking "600 size" sounds like more than 1kW with 6S or more battery....

I received mine a few days ago.
Two flights so far, both ending in minor crashes.

I used the included contact cement. It cures to a dirty yellowish color. And isn't very strong. (Not sure if using a not-so-strong glue might be better since crash damage might be more clean on the glue joints. Anyway, I am using with 5-minute epoxy for repairs.)

There is no assembly manual.

There are 2 slots molded in the foam to accept carbon rods for wing reinforcement. No carbon rods were included. Luckily I have some lying around, I think it's 2mm. Fits well.

Proper CG is mentioned at HobbyKing reviews/forums to be just in front of the finger grips. With Spektrum AR6110 and no VTail mixer onboard, and with a 3S 800mAh Zippy 20C, my CG ends up about 10mm in front of the finger grips.

Maiden flight was difficult due to the amount of up-elev trim (about 4mm up) needed. And also due to over-sensitivity of controls.

My last crash seemed to be due to something working loose in mid-air, resulting in loss of control. Suspected to be the snap-fit elevon control horns.

Now I have to replace one servo.
And one elevon is a little torn and bent, I may have to glue thin carbon rob at the trailing edges of both elevons.

I made it slower than stock by using an APC 4.7x4.2 instead of the included 5x5 prop.

EDIT: forgot to say that for the flight in the video, I also moved the battery aft, to get the CG pretty much spot onto the finger-holds. Seems better than before, when I had the CG about 10mm forward of the front of the finger-holds.

Looks like it flies quite good - but I'm not sure the HK statement either - 'floats like a kitten' paints the wrong picture for me too.

I'm guessing they mean its 'cute' and 'gentle' to fly. Yes, kittens are cute, and they can be gentle I'm sure... But has anyone seen a cat fall in a pool? While cats can swim perfectly fine, I think the stroke they use is called 'The Insane Eggbeater'. Not gentle or cute at all.
