I am running DJI suggested gains of 220/220/140/150 and 130/130 with 30% expo on Aileron and Elevator. I am also running a new center plate, arms and WKM MC from DJI. In my opinion it is not a s**ty platform. But I would like you to have the same experience that I am having. I hope we can help you.
ATM 116/105/130/140 150/150. Actually I had the problem when we were trying to find the correct gain. The basic pitch & roll is connected to x2 & x3. Tx is futaba 12fg, rx is r6208sb. Dunno if I want to test again with the DJI's suggested gain setting, it's scary to know if you can't trust the platform you're flying.

This is one reason we haven't upgrade our 2 other hexas (1 droidworx frame, 1 mk style frame with CF middle plate), still at 5.02, no problem whatsoever.

The delay in controls makes it sound like there is some issue between the rx/wkm maybe? There should be no delay when you move the stick. Then again you say it works fine in manual so it doesn't make sense it would be a rx/wkm issue but more of a either a compass calibration or some issue with the IMU?

Maybe connect up the WKM to your PC and run the WKM Assistant and re-run the the tx-calibration. Then move the controls around and see if they move the sliders in the software at the same time or if there is some delay. Try all kinds of modes, etc.
I've tried to connect to wkm assistant again, and all tx setting were normal. This is not our 1st wkm, and we are using ace one as well. I guess we spent to much money on DJI's product.

No telemetry, only the droidworx hexa has the full waypoint license, hasn't use it yet because we are too afraid to upgrade the firmware.

I have flown 20+min before the low battery alarm went off. However, the lipos were over 90% discharged. I would not recommend doing this.

that seems interesting....

I can see it being useful with LOS flying, but FPV it seems useless....
I fly LOS, I just use the cam to frame video and pics.

Could you please tell us which props you mounted, and if you needed an adaptator, which one?

thanks!

Actually, I made them myself. At first I bought a lot of different pair props. This one and the APCshape 14*4,7 Carbon were the one's with good trust/power ratio, this one had a little less vibration... but still a little to much, they were still to flexible at high power.
So I glued a piece of ABS 0,6mm over the center, sanded it a little in shape, used them to make moulds, and played a few evenings with epoxy, carbon tissue, wax etc. etc.

Here you can see the final result, the props I used for the moulds I thought came from rc-timer.

Is this safe to use?

MIne S800 arms with motor and ESC have been in Switzerland for the upgrade. It looks as if the resistors are switched. From what I can see of the picture it has only been working with resistors. See picture.

On one arm, the red LED is not liting now.

I could not wait longer to test flying! Everything seemed ok except one red LED. Motors and ESC was not hot after 2 x 13 min flight time.

My ESC has the sign: DJI High Voltage BLDC AQ 03-05 V3

But is it safe to use this ESC with faulty LED?

Throwing this in here as it is directly for S800 owners. Adding my buddy code if anyone wants to save money on the 6S 30c 8000mAh lipos. I'm going to try 2x of them and see how the temps get and my flight times. Frank from DJI is claiming near 25 minutes with the Z15.

this one is just a bit more expensive but 110g more light so with two you get 220g less http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html
