Noob Troubleshooting - Quad Pitches in wrong direction

Hey All,

I am building my first quad. I went outside and put it at 10% throttle, so it was just barely not lifting off, then played with the various inputs to see that the correct motors spun faster. Unfortunately they did not.

Correct:
Yaw Stick Left --> CCW rotation of quad
Yaw Stick Right --> CW rotation of quad
Roll Stick Right --> Left side motors lift into the air
Roll Stick Left ---> Right side motors lift into the air
Throttle Stick Up --> Everything moves faster

Wrong:
Pitch Stick Forward --> Front motors lift into the air
Pitch Stick Backwards --> Back motors lift into the air

Flight Controller: CRIUS AIOP V2.0
Firmware: MegaPirateNG 3.0.1
Ground Station Software: Mission Planner 1.3.7
FRAME_CONFIG: QUAD_FRAME
FRAME_ORIENTATION: X_FRAME
Motor Connections and Prop Rotation Direction: According to http://xxl-modellbau.de/abbildungen/...gaPirateNG.pdf page 42

I tried recalibrating the accelerometer using mission planner (no effect). Using Mission planner I have confirmed that pitch stick right increases pwm, pitch stick left decreases pwm.

I suppose I can just flip the pitch channel in my transmitter, but can anyone tell me what I did wrong / the reason this is happening?

bump. Any ideas?

I tried flipping the pitch channel and I am now able to fly it. Although it tends to drift in the forward direction slightly all the time.

Uh, you solved it then.

Calibration issue? (gyro/accel) Have you tried correcting with trims?

Which frame is it? (CoG might affect it?)
