GWS 6 blade fans.

I had a GWS A-10 when they first came out. Had two "64mm" ? 6 blade fans with brushed motors. Actually flew pretty well. The airframe is long gone but still have a few fans left over.

Just wondering.

Has anyone ever came up with a good brushless setup to turn these ?

The problem with them is about 400 watts is the max for the rotor. Above that they can explode apart. I use to run the Wicked 4800 in them on 3S.

Thanks. I knew I haven't read about anyone using them on a regular basis. What about maybe cutting them down to three blades ?
