Thanks.. that was out at Renner Rd and George Bush.
It appears as fast as my Rifle and Balsa Baby Shark measured at over 130, but that could be the noise.
I like the fact that this one has only about $100 in it and is much more crash resistant that the usual racers.

Hey Mike.

Just curious, what battery do you use for your Balsa Baby Shark? Mine's still unmaidened cause I don't have a battery to fit her.

According to RCSpeedo on my iPhone:

Pass 1 - 117.34MPH
Pass 2 - 82.79MPH

It couldn't read the rest of the passes, they were too close together.

Using the Microdan 2900kv..
I maidened with a Rhino 1300 3s and 5.5x4.5 and then went to the "Nano" 1100 45c 4s and 5.25x4.75 on the next flight.
4s is alot of fun and the plane seems to fly better going faster.
The Nano batteries that Nanoplanes sell work really good and that 1100 4s is the largest that will fit... they come ready with deans installed.
Pay close attention to the CG as some are reported to be tail heavy.
You may have to glue a bit of lead (1/4 oz) to the firewall
I also use a 800 mah 2s (pushed forward a bit) on 6x5.5 for some lighter, yet suprisingly quick flying.
Launch at 60-70% throttle and be prepared for some left pull.

To those who moved this thread...
If I wanted it in "wings", I would have put it there.
My focus is "high performance" in general, not wing designs.
Really? Is the "high performance" section so stuck-up that a wing cannnot come by?
If I said "fast plane" instead of "fast wing", one would'nt have noticed and moved me.
More of the people that have relevent information to my interests frequent the high performance page, so let me decide where to post.

Thank you for replying!
I am going to get a "Pocket Radar" for instant, accurate gratification.
Get a few of these and build light...
