Cheap sedan cars?
Im not really looking for fast or anything, but I remember my uncle had this old green bodied car and it was pretty fast, tho I never knew what is was as I was pretty young, but he said is was so fast because the chassis was a thin piece of something(very light). Maybe like a carpet car? possibly tamiya

and thought, that would be cool to have, kinda scale look to it, and have a nice amount of customizing to do, for handling (tires rim style color brushed motor speed or torque pinions spurs 4x4 2wd etc)
1/18th to 1/10 is a good scale for me, tho I was wanting to put my big ass lipo in it for super long run times (2s 6cell niXX size)
hmm... any1 know any good cheap sedans?

2WD carpet cars tend to be very fast, simple drive train, low rolling resistance, low weight, ideal for high speed. One drawback, you need a very smooth track to run these, or you constantly have the bottom scraping the ground.

You could pick up an HPI Sprint2Drift, Sprint2Sport, etc, etc. They also make the E10 which is bushed RTR for about $180, if you wanted fast you could put a brushless motor/ESC combo in it.
I have an E10 that I just got and plan to convert it.

The car you linked to is an M chassis made by Tamiya. They are an absolute riot to drive and the customization possibilities are endless. As for cheap, I think they are very reasonable in price, as well as many of Tamiyas 4wd touring and rally platforms. There are less expensive ways to get into a sedan but most tend to lack quality and/or parts support.
I am in the process of building a sedan chassis right now
That after a Tower Hobbies coupon code only ran me $150 with upgraded priority shipping. These include an ESC and my particular chassis also included Tamiya TLU-01 light unit along with some white lights for the front of the car and reds lights for the rear. The TLU is normally almost $50 by itself so if you were to go with a kit without that unit such as
And take advantage of one of Towers savings codes you could get your base kit for around $100 or so. Add in one of these
And one of these
And you have a very affordable package that you can build yourself, is built from quality, trusted products and you know will be reliable with good parts and upgrade availability.
