Is HobbyKing owned by Hextronik??

Does anyone happen to know if Hextronik owns HobbyKing (.com)?

I am curious because every time I order something from HobbyKing.com, my PayPal receipt says that I remitted payment to "Hextronik".

Thanks!

Matt

You don't need to be a detective to call that a confirmation.

That and the development of hobbyking items all over their site...

Actually, it is possible that Hextronik is a supplier of Hobbyking that just happened to fulfill the few things I have ordered from the site.

As for "development of hobbyking items all over their site", I am not sure what you mean.

A supplier who has been to the HobbyKing warehouse told me that there are no traces of the name HobbyKing there: just Hextronik.

Yes, they call all their products by the name "hextronik" (eg. *Hextronk* dt750 motors*, and in XT60 connectors, they say XT means *HexTronik*)
Maybe hobbyking.com is a only a url because hextronik.com doesn't sound attractive

Doesn't matter it's still all OEM stuff which they rebrand as their own!!!! That's the nature of the industry....

Buying a BMW and painting it pink does not mean you made the car yourself and it is no longer a BMW!!!

BTW - registering a new company in HKG is really a quite a simple affair.
