Props on an Alfa

Seems like a lot of folks like a 9X6 prop on their Alfa Warbirds. Is this a regular 9X6 APC/E or a 9X6 APC Slowfly prop?

Thanks

An 8X6 APCE is good for long flights and decent speed. A 9X6 or 9X7 works well for speed with a three cell and the Big Red. I also like the new Master Airscrew E series. I am running an 8.5X6..with a Big Red and 3 cell. My .02 cents...

I too like the performance of the master air screw 8.5 X 6 props on my corsair, I am running a 9X6 SF on my frank with the big mp jet red though and shes a real mover--but a much higher amp draw--around 17-18 amps.

I'm using an 8x6 APC E on my FW-190 with the MP Jet Red. Plenty of speed for me.

On my FW-190 I have tried both the 9x6 E and the 9x6 SF APC props. I think the E-series seems to give better performance.

Edited to note that I am running the blue MP Jet currently with the above mentioned props.

I have tried the APC and Master Airscrew Electric props as well as the Aeronaut's on my Alfa's. I found the Aeronaut 8.5x6 to be the most efficient and toughest but also more expensive. The APC E 8x6 is almost as efficient but break fairly easily on belly landings. The MA Electrics are not as efficient but are also very tough to break. The APC E props are more forgiving to the firewall but with some gorilla glue reinforcement at the firewall and fuselage, I have had no problems with the firewall coming loose. I have either the Red MPJ outrunner or Axi 2212-20 outrunners in my Alfas. They are all pretty high performance planes on a Tanic 1550 3s pack.
"I Have the Need for Speed", LOL!!!
IMHO
