Any chance of making the sweep switch-able between angle (degrees) and mm ?

P.S. I tried several multi panel CG calcs a couple of months ago. Your's gave me the most accurate CG (which was confirmed with flight test CG tuning).
Wait for the next version, sweep in (mm,inches) or angle, per panel.

And keep sharing these wings designs.

With the angle support, one more thing, measurement in the canvas:

EDIT And more to come:

EDIT2: evernote appears to have unreliable img servers (IMHO), going back to skitch:

And the ability to print the canvas along with calculation results. (Really nice job on this, by the way. Thanks for putting in the effort.)

The MAC calculation is airfoil agnostic, it is based on the format of the whole wing, not the airfoil.

That said, the percentage ahead of MAC that we use as CG is airfoil-dependant (and parametrizable in my calculator), so you can adjust.

I have no personal experience with KFM airfoils, so anyone with more experience with KFM can jump in.

KFM does definitely have an influence on the CG.hence me asking.though I'm sure it can be done correctly.i've used this calculator for quite some time now, before I knew about the thread

I need some help from you 'imperial' guys.

What are the common unit used to express wing loading if you are measuring your wing in inches? oz / inē ?

We metric people (the sane ones :-) ) use g/dmē.

Yes, Im adding wing load calculation to http://wingcgcalc.bruder.com.br/, it's too easy to not add.

EDIT: BZZZt, wrong, you imperial guys in airmodel wing load calcs normally uses ounces per square foot, oz/ft2.

v1.6 http://wingcgcalc.bruder.com.br/

ok guys, some minor corrections (ajax timeout, translations, etc) and one minor but useful feature: wing load calculation.

If the wing load field is not been calculated with the weight correctly filled, reload the page to force-download wingcgload.js (ctrl-R, cmd-R, whatever force-reloads your browser). I'll have a fix for that in the next version.

wing loading not calculated

I am not an active member on this forum but here I've found there is a trace of the CG calculator versions.

I am using Win 7 64bit and Chrome. If I enter a value in the Weight field the Wing Load field remains empty.
Is there something I am missing or do wrong?

Thanks for the wanderfull tool you have created!

Cristi,
