This thread is about a list of available Flying Sites, so its a wee bit annoying to be flagged on a message that is not at all related.

Since you ask, I have a 130x in my fleet, and the Sim 130x, as it comes, isn't much like it without modification to parameters, however it is very easy to get it the way that you like and acceptably accurate by adjustment, and even basic trimming using Edit will alter it dramatically.

Constant forward cyclic input? Not here!

re: the 300, have seen and briefly flown a new one on its first flight session, indoors...........no wobble at all on that one.

My last contact to Phoenix Support not long before Christmas gained a reply within a week.

I got a reply in two days now, but coming back to Huntsville and the "get stucked" issue they said this:

"We will look into this issue, but the "height-map" collision primitives are
really only intended for collision usage, not for long, traversable pieces
of terrain, so optimisations made in the physics of these objects may result
in the effects that you mention."

Hi Minh,

very good scenery and construction. Rich of details and crash-objects. The trees could be masked by alphamasking.

Here is a short testflight, :-) sorry for the bad landing :

Hi Harold ,

thank you for your comment on the flying sites .
you are right ! It will definately look better if alpha masking is apply for the trees in Elwater .
I am doing the reading on how to make alpha masking for the trees . Hopefully I will figure out how to do it shortly .

Hi Harold ,

I still do not know how to apply alpha mask in to the image . Then what's the screencast for ?

do you mean that I should register with screencast so I can open it up and see how you apply alpha mask to the image ?

Hi Minh,

sorry, I forgot this screencast is PW-protected. You have a PM.

If you send me all your files, I could show you how to create such masked trees.

Best regards

Harald

Hi Minh,

wonderful! Your masking is fine! I have retouched some ground details and the sky.

Elkwater Lake (1 min 48 sec)

All the best!

Have been really busy lately. I also have like 10 nice flying sites photographed. This is a beta version of one of them "Gnesta" (a small town south of Stockholm, Sweden. My childhood town). (map)

Download: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/41264390/phoenixsite_gnesta.zip

Feel free to comment but please know I have just created a simple ground level and no variating terrain like it should be. No crash objects and no other start positions.

I might fix that later. Meanwhile if someone reverse engineered something like that it's ok (it's possible creating new project and copy these DDS-files to it).

Have more of this status, let's see what's next...

anyone know what's the problem with Creator when you can't resize objects. I try to put a cube and drag the handles. But the handles just pops back and nothing happens!! Strange. I'm really tired of that program.
