Ian, do you have the wing area figured out? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I'd like to calculate wing loading.

Thanks!

well wing area is as close as i can get is , 60 dm2 so wing loading on mine which weighs in at 2.13 kg (empty) is i think

35.5 g/dm2

When all the lead is in (1.3 kg) its goes to

57.7 g/dm2

I think ,
not 100% sure . but i do think i worked it out correctly

Cool, thanks, Bob!

I'll try to confirm with my own measurements once I get to work on the wings...

Two videos really making me pine to get out there this weekend!

Looking forward to more when the new prop arrives Lukey! The electric Willow looks a good combination!

I was at the Willow maiden. It was quite a sight to see. I'm proud of Ed's build it really came out well.
Here is the video I shot.

Finally got a bit more done tonight...

10 of these ought to weigh just shy of 100g each, when filled with lead.

Soldered-on ball links. Microballoons and 30-minute splooge. Plenty of clearance around the tail pegs and to each other... Looks like the right one could stand to be tweaked upward just a smidge.

Looking Good Rod ,
I see what your saying about tweaking 1 of them , maybe whip the tail off , heat the solder and get the ball to move , then snip off the excess.
TBH do you think it will affect it when each servos travel is set on the TX ?

I would leave it myself
