new GRP 2014

Hello,

I have the new GRP 2014 wheel-tyres also here, received them some days ago.

I have the X soft compound, for SB5 and for my NF bikes. Need to wait for testing, My favourite tracks (parkings Mc Donalds and industrial are wet and dirty).

I have also ordered the new weight wheel ring set.

So I need to wait to see if the wheels are well balanced, correct glued and are nicely round.

In anyway, the look is fantastic, If the wheel-tyres are OK, I will stick with it for ever, over and out with that sometimes tricky tyre glueing, inserts....., removing tyres, etc........ .

Anyone know what hub you should have to run RX20 and RX10 on a KP-14 ?

Original is 16mm center and GRP is 18mm

You need the wheels with no spokes. The wheels with spokes only fit, NF RG or any hub with an 18mm center.

Hi just to say got the new GRP tyres on rims, ran them at Aldershot track and I found them to be easily as good as Roadies, and a lot cheaper, so its GRP all the way for me in the UK.

Thank you GRP for a good tyre and keeping the cost down.

Regards Graham Clarke

I totally agree with you there Graham. Maybe even better. It was GRP all the way for us at the SA titles last weekend. No other tire was working as well these were. x/soft and soft. Perfect amount of traction.

Good to see your still racing.

Cheers.

GRP's where 1,2,3,4 at the SA Titles.
Worked great from cold and worked great when hot!

They also have great wear and are manufactured to a high standard with a consistent profile on both the front and rear tyres.

And at just over $60 AUD a set who can argue?

Cheers,

Scotty

Hi Ya
I stopped for 2 or so years (cost of fuel and lack of money)
Just got a M3R off Steve, so im having another go as its a cheaper class,
The Roadies tyres were good, but for me way to much money, and the where rate was crazy. (that's my own opinion)
So now I want this rain to go away, so I can play.

Good to hear from you to Shaun
All the Best Graham
