Excellent!
FYI - There is really no difference in stability between 161 and 207. 207 does have more features but 161 seems to be easier to tune.

Have fun!

I got the "RCTIMER 2-Axis Brushless Gimbal Controller v1.0" from UAV Objects.
worked great out of the box.... on the bench.
Not so good in the air. way to much vibration. I am going to change all the damper balls.
But, the question I have is about the GUI... I can get it to "connect" with green on the screen and it says connected. But there is no info coming in from the board.
I did notice i get a motion error. Do I need to disconnect the motors before using the GUI?
or is this a driver issue? I did the whole uninstall and delete drivers wo/ internet...

Later,
Gundy

Generally, if there is no info update from the board, you are not fully connected. It is usually a driver issue.

Here is some info to help with the drivers (scroll down to "step 2")

http://www.itsqv.com/QVW/index.php?t...troller_Set-Up

As far as disconnecting the motors, this isn't necessary. There is a power up sequence you should use:

Starting without battery or USB plugged in AND the GUI software not open-
1. Plug in the battery and let the gimbal initialize
2. Plug in the USB cable
3. Start the GUI and click connect

Also, make sure the IMU connections are correct and solid.

Cheers,
Mark

Looks good, I don't really see anything wrong? There is no Jello which is excellent The little jerkiness in the yaw rotation is not the gimbal but rather the camera or edit settings. I get this same jerkiness on my GoPro2 if I shoot at 30fps or less or if I use a crappy class 6 SD Card. It can also happen if you render in a format that YouTube doesn't like.

Did I miss something?

As expected, you didnt miss anything....
But this yaw issue is what i cant deal with and some vibrations i still have as well.
I shoot with a lumix lx7 at full hd at 60fps.
I shoot shutter priority at 1/60 auto iso to eliminate rolling shutter.
i have applied some unsharp mask in premier to deal with tiny vibrations i still get. I rendered the footage with premier at youtube full hd but i maintained the 60 fps. So premier shifted the footage to 720p. I used max render quality.
What am i doing wrong?
I also shoot whith image stabilazitaon activated on camera.
What am i doing wrong???

how stupid am i!! i am posting at a wrong thread..........i just spot it....sorry evryone.

Mark and any other please lets continue here:

Hi all I just upgrade this gimbal to 3 axis with a gimbal yaw motor with slipring!!!!
Works really great!
The motor is the following:

Guys-
I am in a rush, out on site, and need to be able to adjust the pitch on my gimbal to point downward about 15 degrees. I'm running v48 firmware. Just assume I'm a total moron......
