After only a few seconds of lookin at Ed's chroming process, I now realize there is NO WAY I have the ability to make the poor old fittings I have for this model look like that ~
Looks like I'll have to job it out ...
If'n any of you Masters can help, Please lemme know.......

Looking really good Tim, it must be the humidity here on the East Coast
because none of us seem to be able to use Krylon paint without having
the paint lift after one hour after spraying .

I have learned the hard way ~
The paint window ( at least for me ) is:
72* - 85* and No more than 35% humidity, I dont even try otherwise.
Stack up jobs till its time then Hit it.

I think it would be a nightmare to try and chrome all those pieces. If you don't mind a suggestion. I would smooth them out with 600 W&D sand paper and buff them to a high shine and then spray a clear coat on the parts.
Here is a Dumas white metal bow light that is sanded and buffed with Black, Red and White compound. It is just as shiny before chroming as it is after.
