Hitec HS225MG Replacement Servo.

Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement servo for the Hitec HS225MG ?
I have a couple of faulty ones installed in a Vector III glider that are causing me problems with the neutrals "wandering" all over the place. So I am looking to replace them with something more reliable. However, they need to be able to fit a servo mount for the HS225MG in order to avoid me having to do major surgery on the wings to get the existing mounts out.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Tower and Hobbico used to have their versions of it but there are no good substitutes that are that physical size and torque.. It is a very specific size niche.

Why not check and find out if indeed the servo or wiring is faulty or an incopatible transmitter?
Many times servo are said to cause a problem when not fully compatible transmitters, with EPA fully extended, are being used.
Attachment "Servo Not Centering properly - Causes and cures" refers.
HS-225MG are a good unit and very easy to repair:

Much more information available under sub sections

What would help would be knowing what transmitter and receiver you are using. Like why A.T. is pointing, there is the probability of a mismatch between transmitter, receiver, and servos. As an example: I put together a Top Flite Cessna with an Airtronics SD-10G trans., a 92104 receiver (10 channel FHSS3), and analog servos (Airtronics 92104). When I would take a a control surface to full deflection and then take my finger off the stick and let it snap back, the servo would take 4-5 seconds to center (maybe).

In the end, changing the receiver to the 8 channel FHSS1 and adjusting the trans. to match solved the problem with the existing servos. Appears a "glittering generality" is that you can use digital quality servos on an analog quality system, but you can run into problems using analog servos on a digital quality system.

JJkupinski,

I am using a Multiplex Royal Pro Evo 12 on 2.4ghz, with a Multiplex M-Link 6 channel 2.4ghz receiver. I am also using the same combination of Tx; RX; and Hitec HS225MG servos in other gliders, without the same centreing problems, which is why I suspect it is a faulty servo problem. I could replace them with new HS225MG's, but thought I would ask if there was a suitable alternative servo I could use and that would fit the same servo mount I have very securely bonded in the wings of my model. Hence my initial post.
