VULTURE 3500 E Glider Build Log
Hi,
This my build log for the Vulture 3500 electric from MVM Models. I believe that its a Gen 3 with the Carbon D-Box wing. It was sourced from Tony Fu at www.sloperacer.co.uk The model is setup as a value for money 'sports' flier based on recommendations from Tony. This is my first venture into molded planes and certainly far bigger than I had initially intended. I was chasing an Orion however the UK distributor was closed for the week that I was visiting London. Anyhow, here goes a great ride or a lot of disappointment, all due to my inadequacies of course! I have read the several build threads in detail, mostly non E versions, which I thank you. Without these, I would not have purchased the plane. Some of the links are listed below: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=vultur+3500 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=vultur+3500 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1559999 I had intended to send several emails to Tony.....this thread will hopefully help many more. Finally, please dispense advice liberally, I NEED it. Thank you |

Questions - Servo Rod
The servo rod needs to go through the top skin in order to connect to the metal clevis and pre-fitted horn.
How do I determine how much (length) and how deep I should cut the top skin to get the servo rod fitted? Can I remove some of the timber spar? Should I mix any micro balloons with the epoxy glue to help lock in the servo and external bearing?
