Even if it was a lower price, support the guys that invest in the original R&D. Those are the guys that should be rewarded for their efforts. Blade does one hell of job in bringing good products to market, and should be the one that gets the support. If nobody innovates, what's left to clone?

It was reported at HF that the heli flies nice and rather like a bigger heli. The motor seems to be more powerful. The stock transmitter is not programmable but there is a programmable transmitter. However, it is not compatible with Futaba or Turnigy. Many parts of interchangeable including the servos.

IMO, the price is just to high for a clone. I can get a lightly used genuine Blade for less, and a brand new one for only $20 more...

how do we know this is not a clone but a different version from the same company who builds HH helis?
being this is not a HH brand the price will be a little cheaper..
even Hobbytown is now desinging and building there own RC to cut out HH and save from the prices HH charges them..

This is what I have been thinking as well. I am quite sure that this is the manufacuter of the MCPx as they hold the patent for the linear servos used in Efight planes and helis.

But we just don't know what sort of contract that the manufacturer has with HH. Whether it is complete exclusive or not. It is extremely rare for one Chinese manufacturer to rely totally on a single customer for business. Not even Foxconn relies totally on Apple. The MCPx is not sold in China and so there is a void there.

It is based in a different region of China. However, it seems very odd that a manufacturer that has little expereince with manufacturing helis suddenly come up with a 100 CP, albeit a copy. You have got a similar situation with the V911 which seems to be a clone of the Align Trex 100, but it is likely that both comes from the same source.
