DEVO Users (Ver.: 7 - 12)

We have just received word from Walkera concerning the DEVO trainer port from DEVO 7 - 12. We will perform some tests today (pending a DEVO transmitter sample which we are currently awaiting).

The cable required to work with DEVO 7 - 12 systems is compatible with one of the cables which is already available for the ONELINK (3.5 mm audio jack).

I look forward to putting one on my Devo 10 - looks like the JR cable should fit. I run Deviationtx and have a ppm output which should connect. The power cable does nothing on the Devo 10 but it gets the extra HT8 cable out of the way.

Edit: It's nice to see that the OneLink will also work with my existing Eye One.

Sweet! So, just send me a sample One Link and Xtreme and I'll test and review them for you.

Testing with the DEVO 12 has begun and we already went into trouble. Working on it now. Looks like we can only get channel 1 - 5 to be recognized correctly by the OneLink just as if there is no output signal for channels 6 and 7 via the trainer port.

We are going the measure the output signal. Obviously it would be a bummer if only 5 channels are sent to the trainer port as this would render the DEVO system not capable to be used since the OneLink (in order to utilize all features of the RC EYE Xtreme) requires 7 channels.

Keep you guys posted.

That would be a major bummer if the OneLink won't be fully compatible with the Walkera Devo.

I guess with limited channels it would still be ok with my Eye One, but it would definitely be a factor in my Xtreme purchase, putting a damper on my continuing quest for 'One Transmitter to Rule Them All'.

But you can make it work! Am I right?

We continued testing yesterday and it looks promising at the moment. Its just that we need to find the correct settings on the TX (Devo) itself. Looks like the signals are fine. So, I believe we can get it done. Look at the second pdf document I attached earlier yesterday, Devo support has been officially added into the document

I know you guys have been super busy but is there going to be any testing done to see if the OneLink will work with Flysky or Turnigey FS-TH9X Tx?

Thanks,
Beep
