Question
Battery questions

I have a 900mm quad flying a naza setup with GPS. Whole unit weighs about 5lbs loaded with batteries. Currently using 2 matched Turnigy 6000mAh 25-50C discharge 4 cell Li-Po batteries and getting about 6 to 8 minutes max flight time when I am loaded with a small video camera and a gopro. What would be the best battery setup to get the most amount of flight time? Need as much fly time as possible...

What prop motor combo are you running? Seems a bit short on flight time. I'm well over 5lbs and getting 8 to 10 minutes on 2 x 5000 4S 40C on 800mm (hoverfly).

I'm no expert on the O.S motor but I would think you could go to a 13" or 14" SF prop (13x4.5 or 14x4.7) I could be wrong but for your setup I think you are under propped.

The problem with going bigger on the LiPo's is diminishing return due to the mass. 4S runs at about 100g per 1Ah. I can run 2 x 8000mah 4S 30C packs to increase my flight time by about 4 minutes over the normal 2 x 5000mah 4S 40C packs.

Thanks for the info. I'm new to the "big" quads so there has been a slight relearning curve.
