Thanks for the nice comments Jim.
Five of us (I am working on more) will be visiting in June! Looking forward to it for sure.

Once again a really fun contest for us folks down from the Port Townsend area. A bit challenging conditions which isn't a bad thing for us trying to increase our skills. The chili was great by the way. Thanks to all of you at TCMAA for putting the contest on and the standing invite to come down. Its always worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. And thanks olythom for your advice on the glitching issue. Going to look into that antenna placement to see if that's the culprit.

Thanks for the nice words. We have a good group of guys who really enjoy flying the Ales format. It's been the most popular event that the club has ever tried. And we certainly enjoy having you guys coming down to fly with us.

Yesterday was a little breezy but the air was 'lifty' enough to keep things pleasant. 22 flyers entered and Mark Anderson once again schooled us with his home-brewed Supra. Dennis Richards finished a strong 2nd with his Oracle 93. I ( with my purple Pulsar - Barney) finished 3rd. Tom Gallagher flew his home grown pod-and-boom yardstick to 4th. Josh Spurrell flew his Supra to 5th. Eric Bourlet flew a home brewed pod-and-boom ship to 6th. Ron Hill flew a Radian to 7th (Top 2M and Top Radian). According to Duke Johnson, the highlight of the contest was the fact that he beat both of his boys (Daniel and Nathan).

All in all, it simply added up to more Ales fun shared by a bunch of flying buddies in the beautiful Pacific NW. Hard to beat that!
