Hi,could someone give us the low and high rates for this plane as it comes out of the box?

There really are no hi and low rates as such, this model is very dependant on speed for its rates, at 200+ kmh I have the movement down to around 5mm max on ailerons, and I have maybe 15mm on elevator, I use hi rates for landing, around 8-10mm on aileron, and 30+ on elevator so I can come in slow and keep pulling the nose up till she drops in at high alfa. You run out of elevator on landing as she slows down so hi/low rate switching is necessary.

Well I got busy over the weekend, seeing as it will be a few more weeks before I can fly again I wanted to get the Mirage done so the paint and clear coat hardens up nicely. My green is not as dark as it should be but not being able to drive meant going with what I had If it annoys me I can always redo it, got plenty of decals!

Decals are very easy to use, quite thick and strong for water slide, colours are not bad but the yellow and red could have been a bit deeper, so much for CMYK colour matching, trust the chinese to take no notice of colour codes....

She'll look good to a blind man at 50 yards mate. Hard to tell the colour doesn't match at +220km/h anyway

True I think I will fill in the gaps and ribs around the tailcone with spack filla, and create the rear end, was going to wrap it in plastic sheet to create the Mirage III rear, still might do that and then airbrush over it, will use tamiya titanium at the back to highlight the exhaust. not much else to do really, I didnt want to go crazy with detail as no point for an everyday jet.

I know this isn't the for sale section, but I think I will be selling my Mirage. I just don't use it much, and I could use the funds to buy other projects. . Will sell with motor(HET 600-37-2), fan(Midifan)servos, and battery(6s). Just PM me if any one is interested.( in Aus please).Plane is glassed, and is now hand launch, as I took the retracts out.

Its the two 5s 4500er lipos and the 10s Jepe Fan how made it so heavy

I suppose it has got undercarriage too, my 8s setup ran a pretty heavy fan/motor combo, big 100A ESC and a pair of 5000mah 4s packs, was only 2.9kg glassed and painted ready to fly!
