HI

I'm using this servos on the swash servos - works perfect. Had to modify the elevator servo cause it was sticking 2mm out of the body. Works great!

I also changed the rudder servo but this servo was just buzzing and changed to the

Now it does not turn - but the tail goes right-left-right-left. Changed the tail gyro sensitivity in all possible values - but it only shifts faster or slower - not steady.. I have a spare original servo so I will try this.

Changed the tail blades to new ones - no difference.

The grub nut tool I already have destroyed - cant get them either more fastened or taken out. I may try to put som purple locktite to the end as You suggested. New tool ordered...

Quite irritating not finding the cause of this. My other X3V fly pefect and I cant figure out where the difference is. But I'll find the solution eventually - You bet!!

OK...

Cheers

HI...again

Changed to the original spare tail servo,SCM-9A and the heli acts normal again. Puh... I think I've read something about special issues about the tailservo?

Ok - its half past one o'clock at night here - work tomorrow - up in 6 hours - so I'll better find my bed. I probably find it in my bedrom

Cheers..

Yeah, I tried the emax es08md which I think is the metal gear version of the emax es08de that you tried...Couldn't get it to hold properly either, so instead I did a brain transplant from my SCM-9A & a quick hover test went well. I've got the emax servo's installed on my "silver" x3v, but I haven't given it a good test flight yet as it's been to windy!

Good luck!

Well I still fly mine on stock components and hope to do so for a looooong time hehe but now I am grounded due to a very small thing and really upset that a normal 250 tail rotor blade holder isn't compatible with the x3v tail setup because I would have had that lent to my by one of my flying buddies!! :-/

HI

About my tailshaft I now have got the 1.0mm hex and managed to lock the tail metal piece so the tailshaft is level with the hole. What a difference!! No tailspin at all even an full throttle from a low hovering position.

I've written earlier that this grub screw was 0.7mm. That is wrong!! This set from Skyartec works fine: http://www.skyartec.com/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=1630

I also can recommend theese servos as replacement servos http://www.ebay.com/itm/281080714596...84.m1439.l2649
- works great for swash - but not for rudder/tail servo (after one try only)

Cheers

YES THAT IS CORRECT

MUST USE THE SKYARTEC DIGITAL SERVO as it is correctly aligned electronically with the Skyartec Receiver Unit - Analog Servos should not be used on the tail servo connection on the Receiver Unit
