I'm at the same spot. Just put on the little wood stiffeners. Night 3 of the build for me, putting in a couple hours a night, taking my time with this one making sure everything is perfect. I sort of sped through the slick/crack yak build, so there are a couple less than perfect things, nothing major, but things that if I had been taking my time and paying attention could have been avoided.
I'm really excited to get this thing in the air but time is not on my side. Postman neglected to drop it off on Saturday so I had to swing by and pick it up on Monday, and between work every day, and a wedding I have to photograph this weekend I'm probably looking at mid next week for my maiden flight. Oh well, it'll be that much more sweet! |

Have you tried pulling a 45 degree line, rolling inverted and seeing what the plane does? It sounds like it is a little nose heavy. The amount of throw just depends on personal preference and your flying style. I prefer all you can get for extreme 3D! |

The DX7 only goes to 125% as well. Futaba 12FG goes to 200%

You can't rush perfection. Using a lot of traingles to keep things perfectly sqare at 90 degrees. It will be a while, but can't wait to get this one in the air. |

Well, heres where I'm at so far. Just about ready to glue the interlinking rods in. I made a couple spacers to place between the wings and both spacers are exactly the same size. That should keep everything in place while the glue dries. The 2 rods are a tad bit long. About 1/8" or less but with the spacers I shouldn't have any problems.

Got 3 more flights in before dark and that was some of the most fun i have had flying anything. I really should have gotten into these flat foamies sooner. I am not worried at all to try new things with it. It's almost as easy to KE this plane as flying straight and level. The one thing i would love is if you could buy one with the option of having your own custom design print or image on it. I would pay more if they had that option.

They're Here!
Well talk about timing.....Today my Crack Pitts and my battery packs (4x 2s 450mAh packs and 4x 3s 450mAh) arrived. First TH plane and first foamy this size. I really like it and just the size I've been looking for to fly around the yard. I see more TH foamies this size in my near future.....Thanks!
