Got to keep the setup a secret... they don't want anyone guessing ahead of contest time... when D said it's a game changer it's no doubt a game changer IMHO...

... my packs came down with 3 - 4 more minutes of flight time no joke, folk at the fly in where waiting in line to touch... I don't even think I have one of the packs because they were passed around so much... I think Gary took it to check voltages.

Sizewise this could accommodate a VT-80 turbine which I have sitting unemployed at now...

Do you think it would be a)strong enough b) wise at all..?

The manual say it'll take a turbine but a small one... they're not "certifying" anything over 150mph

There will be an extra hour to convert on the build ... here's my estimate

- Pipe rail (just a couple pieces of wood so pipe will hold)
- Tank fittings and placement (I think you'd have to use two on each side of the intakes vs one)
- Take out thrust tube cause it's built into the jet but only glassed into the extreme rear of plane (I'll take pics later) that you can cut out with a box cutter or a dremel
- Rear pipe holder... I was thinking of using silicone pieces but this could be done with 3 or 4 1/4 x 1/2" pieces of wood to hold the turbine pipe to the thrust line...

The rest is pump and plumbing for VT80... but no more time than it takes to solder and run ESC wires

A VT80 would over power the jet IMHO....

Wow dude, ...

I don't share your experience, the guy from EDFHobbies has always taken care of people...

One time he traded my fan and motor 5 times balancing for free so I can get the right set up...

I have the opposite experience with EDFHobbies.com than what you're saying...
