Aileron mixing for high alpha

I want to know what setup could be used to mix the ailerons? So that they go up to allow more air while flying high alpha. If I get any I deas on how to do it I will do it on my RcPowers F22

Hi,

This is possible using flaperons. You need servo for each flaperon / airleron.
With this setup You can activate elevator to flaps mixing. Some Tx already has this function preprogrammed.
I'm using this setup, but I'm activating flaps using switch, not the mix with elevator. This function is normally used for sharper up/down plane movement.

Hi,

I've checked dx5 manual and You are right. I have DX7 for 6 years now, I'm very satisfied. Consider DX7 or DX8. I think dx6 will not be enough sooner or later.....

Well I'm on a really low budget right now. I don't have $300 + for a DX7 considering it comes with it's receiver. I think the DX6i will do for now, I don't need to go crazy on all those channels. I just need to add some spoilerons for high alpha and I'm satisfied with just that Thanks for replying BTW

just link your ailerons to your tailerons, one servo per side. so when full up is give all 4 control surfaces will move together (http://static.rcgroups.net/forums/at...90-coupled.jpg). and no additional channels are needed and you'll high alpha all day
