G'day Shane,
In my complete naivety, I'm going to say it's neither ... and would prefer it stayed that way.
Predominantly, the aerotow pilots are MAAA ( to my knowledge) but until you mentioned it here, the topic hasn't been raised.
The aerotow days are not a sanctioned "fly-in" but more an invitation to attend.
Insurance is a must, of course.

It'd be great to have you, or anyone, drop out to take a look.

The 30th of May at the Beaudesert Polo Field is confirmed.
The field is on the corner of Bromelton House Road and Beaudesert-Boonah Road.
Or look for the very large bowling green at -27.982573, 152.969822.
I may need to be corrected but I believe that access to the field is AFTER 10am.
There has been a hint of a BBQ being taken along, too. Will advise.
Remember ... Scale Sailplanes only.

Polo Field 30 May

I'll do a simple BBQ. There is no shade of facilities at the field so BYO. Beaudesert town is just 5 mins away with a Maccas etc.
Visitors and those interested in scale gliders are most welcome!

The forecast is looking favorable for Saturday.
A little overcast with light westerlies ... aligning it with the "strip".
Hope it stays that way.

Gunna go over the models and cycle the batteries.
Looking forward to it.

It would be great if this could be our permanent field.
Pretty much covers all points of the compass covering northern Nsw, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Has any contact been made with the new owners.
