Now that's the best and funnest bipe sloper I've seen. Seems like the extra drag hardly hinders it but helps with knife-edge flight.

As Dieter Says "The Funniest Bipe Ever", very special design and very fun to watch it rolling and knife edges. It doesn´t flips?

Congrats,

Luis Robledo.

Calvin - I built it on the back of my friend Kenny's truck at Dave's Beach and I didn't have any XL control arms. I can tell by the pitch and rudder response that it will do flips and rudder flips with 180 degrees of throw, but right now it's only got about 40 degrees each way.

Dawson - I've got some more experiments to do before I start putting these out there. I'll probably go bigger, like 36 or 42" because 28" is pretty tiny even with two wings.

I think Dieter just complimented my foamie - that means everybody needs to stop what they're doing right now and stock up on supplies because the end of the world is coming

Johnny when you make it back down here I'll let you fly some of my newer planes, I just ordered some different supplies for a new pull/pull connection and I think it's going to work out really sweet.

The wind was pretty strong actually I'd guess around 15-20. The bipe weighs about 9-10 oz. I was surprised it could penetrate at all - definitely a plane made for more vertical lift slopes. No bunny hills, although it seemed to fly fine at Dave's in 7-8 mph.

I really liked playing with all the extra drag, backing it up with knife edge roll reversals was a kick in the pants.

My thoughts exactly Justin! Our Mormon Lake Overlook site should pair nicely with your Bipe. I see all sorts of potential for endless floating stall maneuvers (spins, snap rolls, flips) and super tight rolling maneuvers... just hanging out in the vertical lift. I hope to see a larger version soon. :roll eyes: Woo Hoo!

All I can say is that this is the most exciting new design I've seen in a long time.

I have a serious biplane fetish and this thing looks like it flies awesome. Kudos to you Justin for breaking with conventional slope wisdom and following through with a biplane design.

I WANT ONE. NAOW!!!
