Hi Guys just bought this model and trying to decide
what retracts to use.
How are you guys finding the V3 retracts?
Any problems with them? Is anyone using other brand retracts?
thanks
Paul

Im still using my v2's. Too many cycles to count and they still work. V3's should do you just fine.

Quick question. Somewhere, I've read that they put a Wren 44 turboprop in this plane. I know it's big, but maybe not that big.

Could someone direct me to that thread if they've seen it before.

Thanks

Hello all

I think of building this model during several months.
I want to make an installation electric as yours but I have some questions:
- Where are your batteries ?
- How reach you to your batteries ? I think that it is not possible by the cabin, am I right? Is it necessary to dismount the wing to change batteries ?

Thank you

Pascal

Wow it has been a while since anyone has posted to this thread. I have a question how are you guys accessing your batteries? The TBM website says that the cockpit tub is part of the fuse and not a separate part. If you have a picture it would be really appreciated.

Is this photo looking from the bottom of the fuse where the wing attaches?

Sorry I thought it would have reported the photo of the original post.

Also, does anyone know if there is much of any difference between the TBM PC-9 and the TBM T6 Texan II aside from the canopy trim and color scheme?
