Multiplex Razzor: which brushless motor

Hello guys,

i got a Multiplex Razzor and need a new brushless motor for it. The stock one is a 'Permax BL-O 2316-1400' with following data:

Type: BL-O 2316-1400
# 33 3104
RPM / V: 1400
Cell count
NiXX / LiPo:
6 - 9 / 2S - 3S
Optimum working range: 10 A 15 A
Max. current for 15 sec.: 20 A
Shaft : 3,0 mm
Diameter: 23 mm
Length: 29 mm
Weight: 43 g
Max. output: 120 W
Max. rotational speed: 20.000 Umin-1
Max. case temperature: 65o C
Mounting: 16 mm / 4 x M3

The problem seems to be the max. diameter of 23mm and ~120W of max. output. Does anyone know something similar from Hobbyking or any other supplier?

No one?
The stock motor is delivered with 7x6 Prop.

I know found this series of brushless motors available on ebay:
http://www.dys.hk/ProductShow.asp?ID=27

Guess those should be ok / equal to stock?
Which one to prefer, the 1600 or 2000kv?

I smashed the motor shaft on its first flight and found them nearly impossible to get hold of. Rather than attempt to fit a motor into the fuselage I bolted an Emax to the front.

Not a very popular plane, it seems.

You can try the same motor (I took the 2225/15 - 1600kv) as i linked above. I already installed it into my Razzor, only needed to do some slight modification (some filing) on the plastic motor mount. However i didn't maiden my Razzor yet, as i decided to first practice flying with a more or less similar UMX plane.

I bolted one of thesein from hobbyking and it works fine:

I had to reverse the shaft so that i could bolt the motor in.
Fits perfect - probably too much power.. gets very hard to see very quickly...
