Tx antenna problem (any antenna problem) would result in failsafes, not random rudder glitches.
I assume your saved failsafe position is not set to left rudder.
As you say, sounds like a servo issue.

Well, so I decided going my way and try it. I have Channel Wizard mounted inside my Futaba 9C using transmitter switches for the additional 4 channels by following CW documentation. The new ppm-out is connected to RL module. Now my F9C is converted to a real 12ch system with RL.

The first tests are showing very good results. Next step is to make some flights in order to verify the new system is reliable and secure.

For my next FPV sailplane this is good news!!

I'm puzzled by the last page of the manual:

"Please remove the antenna often unless you have to!!!"

Does this mean one should always remove the antenna if not in use, or the contrary?

what type of SMA connector is on the Rangelink Rx? I am hoping to build my own dipole and extension but need to know what SMA connector to buy to screw onto the Rx. To diffuse any confusion could someone please post a close-up screen shot of the Rx SMA connector?

I think Sid means don't remove the antenna unless you really have to cause the connector is fragile and its been known to break from repeated use.

I've frequently make a mistake trying to label it, so I took a pic It's the screw in type (male) with the little hole in the center (rp?).

Should I just move the rx antenna away from my cameras or the entire receiver? Antenna, one cable. Receiver, 6 million.

In micro mode I get a lot of glitches as-is.

The connector on the Rx is SMA Female. You will need a SMA Male connector on your antenna. RP-SMA is usually found on Wifi stuff but Foxtech and the like sell stuff with those connectors.

How exactly is this UHF system better than PCM1024 72mhz? I understand the claims of better range and stability, but no idea the science behind it. Why is the PCM system inferior within 2km for a multirotor?

Thank you! Yup, SMA-male is required to connect to it. As i thought.

Move things around until you get the results you want.
Sometimes repositioning the antenna is enough. Sometimes it's not.
Always *start* by doing a baseline micro-power range test with just the Tx and Rx powered
by a battery (like 4cell NiMh).
Then start introducing other components and repeat the test. If the range is reduced
then move things around until it isn't. If moving it around doesn't work, then you may
have to eliminate that component. Some cameras, switching regulators, current
sensors, etc are Rf noisy in the 433Mhz band. Some aren't. Some are *very* noisy.
and some only a little. The only person who can make it work optimally on your
plane, is you.
